How to verify the licence yourself
Every commercial licence in mainland Dubai is recorded by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. You do not have to take our word for any of the details on this page. Search for licence number 532541 using the public licence search on the department’s website, and compare the company name, activity and status with what we show here.
We recommend you do the same check on any rental company before you hand over a deposit. A genuine company will give you its licence number without hesitation, and the name on the licence should match the name on your rental agreement and your payment receipt.
What the licence tells you
The licence was first issued on 11 March 2002 and has been renewed since. That date is the basis for our statement that Najd has served clients since 2002.
The licensed activity is car rental, which means the company is permitted to rent vehicles to the public in Dubai. The company also states that it holds a clean file with the Roads and Transport Authority and Dubai Police.
