That covers residents between cars, new arrivals waiting for a driving licence transfer or a car purchase, staff vehicles, and visitors who plan to spend their budget elsewhere. Dubai roads are wide and well surfaced, so a small car is comfortable here in a way it might not be on rougher roads.

It is the wrong call if you are five adults with luggage, or if you plan long motorway days with a full car. In that case compare the compact SUVs, which cost more per day but carry more.
