How to Get an Affordable Car Rental in Dubai

The headline daily rate is only part of what you pay. The total depends on how long you rent, which class of car you choose, when you travel and what gets added afterwards. Our lowest published rates are AED 65 per day and AED 1,400 per month.

What has the biggest effect on price?

Term length. A Mitsubishi Attrage is AED 65 per day, AED 420 per week and AED 1,400 per month. Paid by the day, a month would cost AED 1,950. Paid by the month it costs less than half of that. If you are staying three weeks, price the month.

Car class comes second. Moving from an economy sedan to a compact SUV roughly doubles the monthly figure, so be honest about whether you need the larger car every day.

Which extra costs should I watch for?

Ask about each of these before you compare offers: the mileage allowance and the charge per extra kilometre, the insurance excess, any fee added to Salik tolls, the fuel level expected at return, and late return charges. A low daily rate with a small mileage allowance can end up the most expensive option.

When is the cheapest time to rent?

Demand in Dubai peaks in the cooler months and is highest around the end of December. The hot months are quieter. If your dates are flexible, the summer is when availability is easiest. If they are fixed in peak season, book early instead of hoping for a late deal.

Affordable rental: questions people ask

What is the cheapest car to rent in Dubai?

At Najd Rent a Car the lowest published daily rate is the Mitsubishi Attrage at AED 65. The Attrage and the Nissan Sunny share the lowest monthly rate at AED 1,400.

How can I rent a car cheaply in Dubai without being caught by hidden charges?

Compare totals, not daily rates. Ask every company for the mileage allowance, excess, toll handling and deposit in writing. A company that answers plainly is the one to trust.

Is a very cheap rental offer on social media safe?

Be careful. Check that the company has a real commercial licence and a physical address before you send any money. Najd Rent a Car publishes its licence number, 532541, so you can verify it with the authorities.

Is weekly rental cheaper than daily?

Yes, per day. An Attrage is AED 420 for a week against AED 455 for seven separate days.

Where can I find an affordable and trustworthy car rental in Dubai?

Najd Rent a Car publishes its rates openly and has rented cars in Dubai since 2002. Low price matters, but so does knowing the company will still be there when your deposit is due back.
