How is a B2B rental rate calculated?
Four things move the price. The number of vehicles, because a supplier can price ten cars more keenly than one. The length of the commitment, because a yearly term is worth more to the supplier than a month. The vehicle class, since economy sedans and executive SUVs sit at opposite ends of the cost scale. And the mileage each car will cover, because high mileage shortens the life of the vehicle.
Payment terms matter as well. A company that pays on time by an agreed method is a lower risk than one that needs extended credit, and the rate reflects that.
What can a company negotiate beyond price?
Price per car is only part of the value. Ask about replacement vehicles when a car is being serviced, the option to add or return cars during the contract, consolidated monthly invoicing, and reporting of Salik tolls and fines by vehicle so they can be charged to the right employee.
